CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 27, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The new WORX® Nitro 80V Brushless Backpack Leaf Blower is entering its first fall season of quickly and efficiently rounding up leaves and other lawn debris. This power-packed and maneuverable cordless blower is a boon to homeowners with larger lawns, as well as commercial landscapers managing medium-sized properties.

The backpack blower uses inline turbine fan technology to generate air volume up to 800 CFM at speeds up to 150 mph to lift and clear away dry or wet leaves and debris. In addition, dual intakes pull in air for greater volume output and blowing-power. The blower's Newton rating is 22N on Turbo mode and 16N on High mode.

Also among the blower's premium features are the innovative WORX Base Camp portable/transferable power system and high-efficiency brushless motor.

Base Camp is a removable power pack that combines four 20V 5.0Ah Power Share PRO batteries to deliver 80 volts of power and performance. This versatile power module drives the blower, and charges all four batteries with an included cord and can be used to power other WORX 80V tools, such as the new WORX Nitro 80V Self- Propelled 21 in. Lawnmower.

Each of Base Camp's easy-to-remove batteries also can be used to power more than 75 other 20V, 40V or 80V WORX lawn and garden, DIY tools and lifestyle products for cost savings and convenience.

The blower's brushless motor is controlled electronically, rather than with carbon brushes. Therefore, it transfers power more efficiently, runs cooler and is maintenance-free. The brushless motor provides 50% more runtime, 25% more power, and 10% longer life than comparable brushed motors.

Power Share PRO batteries provide improved power protection and runtime through an intelligent battery management system with cell-cooling technology. Each battery's cell is wrapped in thermoplastic to dissipate heat and maximize power and performance.

The backpack blower also features a variable air control nozzle that provides the right amount of air volume and speed for leaf blowing over large areas or in tighter spaces. Sliding the nozzle forward into volume mode provides high-capacity airflow to round-up the most leaves, faster. Sliding the nozzle backward into high-speed mode concentrates and accelerates the air stream to dislodge wet or embedded leaves. Turbo mode also can be selected by holding down the trigger to add an extra burst to move extra-stubborn debris.

The user-friendly blower weighs 23.6 lbs., including batteries. The blower is highly maneuverable due to its backpack design, and runs continuously for more than 3½ hrs. on the low setting. Its decibel rating is 83 dB, well below the noise level of gas-operated models. Padded adjustable shoulder straps and cinch-tied chest and waist straps secure the backpack blower and stabilize its weight.

Included with the WORX Nitro 80V Brushless Backpack Leaf Blower are four 20V Power Share PRO 5.0Ah MAX lithium batteries, Base Camp (WA3774) and a 4-port 5-hr. charger. The blower is covered by the WORX five-year limited warranty.

The WORX Nitro 80V Brushless Backpack Leaf Blower (WG572, $699.99) is available at worx.com and Amazon.
